We recommend a visit to the Colonia de Sant Jordi market, which takes place every Wednesday from 16:00 to 20:00. Here you'll find local gastronomy, clothes and footwear, handmade household items, fruit and vegetables from local farmers, etc.

It's well worth taking the time to wander around, as almost everything you'll find here is authentically Mallorcan.

Plan 7: Go to the centre of Ses Salines

As you probably already know, Colonia de Sant Jordi belongs to the municipality of Ses Salines, whose centre is also worth a visit.

On the main street there are some well-known establishments such as a traditional bakery where bread, ensaimadas and other Mallorcan specialities are baked, the Cassai Gran Café & Restarurant which stands out for its bohemian atmosphere in a traditional Mallorcan house or finally, the Botanicactus, a botanical garden specialising in cactus which has a surface area of 150,000 square metres.
